1. What Atntiv Collects During Meetings

Atntiv captures real-time captions from Microsoft Teams meetings to provide transcripts and AI-powered insights. We collect only what Teams itself outputs:

• Transcript text from Teams closed captions
• Speaker names (when provided by Teams)
• Timestamps for each transcript line
• Generated insights such as decisions, tasks, blockers, and key points
• Derived metrics: momentum scores, topic flow, meeting timeline

Atntiv does not record audio, video, or your screen. All transcription comes solely from Microsoft Teams caption text already generated on your device.

2. How Transcripts Are Processed

When insights are requested, the transcript is securely transmitted to Atntiv's servers for processing. Third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) assist in generating insights. Your data is never used to train public AI models.

3. What the Browser Extension Can Access

The Atntiv extension only operates on the following Microsoft Teams domains:

• teams.microsoft.com
• teams.live.com

The extension has access only to the on-screen caption elements displayed during a Teams meeting. It reads the text that Microsoft Teams itself renders in the caption area and reconstructs complete sentences from those fragments.

The extension cannot and does not:

• access your microphone, audio stream, or camera
• capture video, screenshots, or screen recordings
• read emails, files, chats, or Microsoft account data
• monitor other browser tabs or websites
• access your clipboard, passwords, or local files
• collect browsing history or activity outside Teams

Atntiv only processes caption text that is already visible on your device. No additional permissions or external data access occur.

4. Data We Store

To provide your meeting summaries, we store:

• Your meeting transcript
• All AI-generated insights
• A unique session ID
• Timestamps, speaker labels, and segment metadata
• Your email (if you sign up or request early access)

We do not store audio, video, or screenshots.

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No microphone or audio recordings
• No camera or video streams
• No screen recordings or screenshots
• No access to your Microsoft account, calendar, or emails
• No tracking outside the Teams window
• No cross-website tracking of any kind

6. Data Retention

Transcripts and insight sessions are stored so you can revisit them later. Unless you request deletion, we may retain this data for up to:

• 12 months for transcripts and insights
• 30 days for technical logs

You may request deletion at any time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and access controls. No method of transmission is fully secure, but we take every reasonable step to protect your data.

9. Third-Party Services Used on Atntiv.com

The public website (separate from the extension and transcript processing systems) uses standard analytics tools to understand website usage and improve performance:

• Google Analytics
• Microsoft Clarity

These tools collect website interaction data only. They never receive transcripts, meeting content, caption text, audio, video, or any data processed through the Atntiv extension.

The Atntiv browser extension does not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or any other third-party analytics or tracking tools.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Atntiv evolves. We will notify users of significant changes.
