1. What Atntiv Collects During Meetings

Atntiv captures real-time captions from Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings to provide transcripts and AI-powered insights. We collect only what the meeting platform itself outputs:

• Transcript text from Teams or Zoom closed captions
• Speaker names (when provided by the meeting platform)
• Timestamps for each transcript line
• Generated insights such as decisions, tasks, blockers, and key points
• Derived metrics: momentum scores, topic flow, meeting timeline

Atntiv does not record audio, video, or your screen. All transcription comes solely from caption text already generated by your meeting platform on your device.

2. How Transcripts Are Processed

Before any data leaves your browser, Atntiv's privacy module anonymizes your transcript by replacing sensitive entities with structured tokens. Only this anonymized transcript is transmitted to Atntiv's servers for AI processing. The original sensitive data never reaches our servers or any third-party AI provider. See Section 3 for a full technical explanation of this architecture.

3. How We Protect Your Meeting Data: Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Your data never leaves your device unprotected.

Most meeting intelligence tools including Otter.ai, Fireflies, and Granola send your raw meeting transcripts to their servers, where your confidential business information is processed and stored by the provider.

Atntiv works differently.

Client-Side Processing

Before any data leaves your browser, Atntiv's privacy module detects and replaces sensitive entities including names, company names, financial figures, dates, and contact information with structured tokens. Only the anonymized, tokenized transcript is transmitted to our servers.

Zero-Knowledge Encryption

The mapping between tokens and your original data is encrypted directly in your browser using a key derived from your credentials. This key never leaves your device. Our servers store only the encrypted mapping which is mathematically impossible to read without your key.

What This Means for You

• Atntiv cannot read your original meeting data
• Our AI processes only anonymized text
• Even in the event of a data breach, your sensitive information remains protected
• Your meeting data is never used to train AI models

Re-identification on Your Device

When you view your insights, your browser decrypts the mapping locally and restores the original names and values only for your eyes.

4. What the Browser Extension Can Access

The Atntiv extension only operates on the following meeting platforms:

Microsoft Teams

• teams.microsoft.com
• teams.live.com

Zoom Web

• zoom.us

The extension has access only to the on-screen caption elements displayed during a Teams meeting. It reads the text that Microsoft Teams itself renders in the caption area and reconstructs complete sentences from those fragments.

The extension cannot and does not:

• access your microphone, audio stream, or camera
• capture video, screenshots, or screen recordings
• read emails, files, chats, or Microsoft account data
• monitor other browser tabs or websites
• access your clipboard, passwords, or local files
• collect browsing history or activity outside Teams

Atntiv only processes caption text that is already visible on your device. No additional permissions or external data access occur.

5. Data We Store

To provide your meeting summaries, we store:

• Your anonymized meeting transcript (sensitive entities replaced with tokens)
• Your encrypted entity mapping (readable only by your device)
• All AI-generated insights (referenced by tokens, not original values)
• A unique session ID
• Timestamps, speaker labels, and segment metadata
• Your email (if you sign up or request early access)

We do not store audio, video, screenshots, or your original unprotected transcript.

6. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No microphone or audio recordings
• No camera or video streams
• No screen recordings or screenshots
• No access to your Microsoft account, calendar, or emails
• No tracking outside the Teams window
• No cross-website tracking of any kind
• No original unprotected transcript text on our servers

7. Data Retention

Transcripts and insight sessions are stored so you can revisit them later. Unless you request deletion, we may retain this data for up to:

• 12 months for transcripts and insights
• 30 days for technical logs

You may request deletion at any time.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and access controls. Our Zero-Knowledge Architecture ensures that even in the unlikely event of a server breach, your original meeting data cannot be reconstructed without your credentials.

10. Third-Party Services Used on Atntiv.com

The public website (separate from the extension and transcript processing systems) uses standard analytics tools to understand website usage and improve performance:

• Google Analytics
• Microsoft Clarity

These tools collect website interaction data only. They never receive transcripts, meeting content, caption text, audio, video, or any data processed through the Atntiv extension.

The Atntiv browser extension does not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or any other third-party analytics or tracking tools.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Atntiv evolves. We will notify users of significant changes.
