What does Atntiv do?
Atntiv converts a live transcript into structured insights including decisions, tasks, blockers, topic flow, and a meeting timeline. The transcript can come from the Browser Listener, a transcript upload, or the Chrome extension.
Does Atntiv process audio or video?
The Browser Listener processes audio from the tab, window, screen, or microphone source you explicitly select. Audio is sent in short segments for transcription and is not intentionally retained afterward. Atntiv does not store meeting video or screenshots.
Which platforms are supported?
The Browser Listener works with browser-based meetings such as Google Meet, Teams Web, and Zoom Web. It may also capture desktop-app audio when your browser and operating system expose that window or screen as a shareable audio source; support varies by platform.

Why does Atntiv ask me to choose a meeting tab?
Your browser requires you to choose what Atntiv may hear. Select the tab containing the meeting and enable Share tab audio. Atntiv cannot silently choose a source for you.
Can I start without a calendar event?
Yes. Open My Meetings, click Start listening, optionally name the meeting, and then select the meeting source.
What happens when I click Finish?
Atntiv stops capture, sends the final transcript through the normal analysis flow, and opens the meeting result when processing is ready.
Chrome Extension
The transcript window doesn’t appear—what do I do?
Make sure captions are turned on inside your Teams meeting. Without captions, the extension cannot function.
Why does the extension need site permissions?
Atntiv only requests access to teams.microsoft.com to read the caption text. No other pages or data are accessed.
Can I install the extension without the Chrome Web Store?
Yes — beta testers can load the extension manually using
chrome://extensions → Developer Mode.
Insights Dashboard
Why are some decisions or tasks missing?
Insights improve as the transcript becomes more structured. Very short segments or vague phrasing may not be classified.
When do insights appear?
Insights appear in real-time and continue processing for a few seconds after each segment of the transcript.
Why does the momentum graph dip?
Momentum decreases when conversations become unclear, repetitive, or lack actionable direction.
Privacy & Data
Is my meeting data shared with anyone?
No. Your transcript and insights belong only to you. They are not shared or sold to third parties.
Can I delete a meeting?
Yes — you can delete any meeting from your dashboard. Deleted meetings are permanently removed from the server.
Does Atntiv use my microphone?
Only when you explicitly select and approve the microphone as a Browser Listener source. Captions-based extension capture does not use the microphone.
