Start Your First Meeting
The recommended way to start is the Browser Listener. It works from the Atntiv dashboard without installing the extension. The captions-based Chrome extension remains available as an alternative workflow.
- Open My Meetings in Atntiv
- Click Listen with Atntiv or Start listening
- Select the meeting tab and share its audio
- Click Finish to open the analyzed result
Before You Join
Make sure the following is ready before starting your first meeting:
- You are signed in to the Atntiv dashboard
- You are using a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge
- Your meeting is open in a browser tab for the most reliable audio capture
1. Start the Browser Listener
In My Meetings, click Listen with Atntiv for a scheduled event. If the meeting is not in your calendar, click Start listening and optionally name it.
Chrome Extension Alternative: Enable Live Captions
This section applies only when you choose the Chrome extension instead of the Browser Listener. The extension reads visible captions and therefore requires captions to be enabled:
Microsoft Teams
- Click the More (…) menu in the meeting controls
- Select Show captions
- Confirm captions appear at the bottom of your screen
Zoom
Make sure your Zoom account is configured first. See Platform Requirements for setup instructions.
- Click Live Transcript at the bottom of the meeting window
- Select Enable Live Captions
- Confirm captions appear on your screen
3. Transcript Window Opens
Once captions are active, the Atntiv Transcript Window opens automatically and updates in real time during the meeting.
