Primary capture method

Browser Listener

The Browser Listener creates a live transcript from a meeting source you choose. It runs in a small Atntiv window, requires no extension, and never starts without your browser permission.

Quick flow: Start listening → choose the meeting source → follow the transcript → click Finish → view the analyzed meeting.

1. Start listening

From My Meetings, choose Listen with Atntiv on a calendar event. For a meeting outside your calendar, click Start listening, optionally add a title, and continue.

Atntiv opens a compact Listener window. Keep it open during the meeting.

2. Choose what Atntiv can hear

Your browser opens its native sharing picker. For Meet, Teams Web, or Zoom Web, select the meeting tab and enable Share tab audio. Do not select the Listener tab.

“Choose a meeting tab” means Atntiv is waiting for browser permission. Cancel and try again if the meeting tab is not listed.

3. During the meeting

Speaker labels depend on audio quality and transcription support. Atntiv avoids guessing when a speaker cannot be identified reliably.

4. Finish and open results

Click Finish in the Listener—not only Stop sharing. Atntiv stops capture, sends the final transcript through the analysis pipeline, and opens the result when ready.

Closing the window early may prevent the final segment or analysis from being saved.

Zoom or Teams desktop apps

Browser-tab audio is most reliable. Desktop-app capture works only when your operating system and browser expose window or screen audio. If audio is unavailable, join from the web version or use an approved virtual-audio setup.
